    BALANCE:
    • Magazine Sizes have been reduced. Just holding the button down and hosing is not that interactive. This also paves the way to towards active reload.

    IMPROVEMENT:
    • Compass UI is now Active. More items to be placed on it.
    • Operation remove masses of text from the HUD.
    • If you are falling you can immediately activate the JetPack.
    • SHOUTOUT: James 'Tank' Lowe

    BUGFIX:
    • Fix Turret Aiming and Laser location being inconsistent.



    Pre4:

    NOTICE:
    • All Dungeon Instances have been regenerated. This should fix the various tiny dungeons.
    • All outside level ranges per area have been regenerated.

    IMPROVEMENT:

    • New Artifact Sword Model!
    BALANCE:
    • Nexus Shield Nodes should actually be useful now. Security Setting is set to FoF, so the building restrictions should work without having to do anything special now. Nexus Shield Nodes now function the same in PVE and PVP for damage stopping. Specifically, no damage to rooms but you can damage Non-Rooms (this includes doors). Nexus Shield Nodes (when active) now block all INCOMING bullets! You can stand inside the shield and shoot the attackers!

    BUGFIX:

    • Fixed New Planets not getting World Events
    Pre1:
    IMPROVEMENT:

    • Planet Stargates are now active! Every Physical Server (e.g. all of the East Coast Servers) will have a number of ExoPlanets and Moons that are available to them ALL! So let the cross HomePlanet battle for Ultimate Control Commence! We will have a more detailed Blog Post on the high level idea behind this!
    • More Server CPU Optimizations
    • Teleporter Rooms have been added to the game! This item will take you between two nodes! So start building the magnificent routes across the world!
    • Localization: German is now ACTIVE! We have modified the engine so that partial localization is now possible! If there is a translation you will see it otherwise you will see English.
    • SHOUTOUT: Thanks to Maxunit for the German Translation!
    • Localization: Francais is now active!
    • SHOUTOUT: Thanks to EmotionFox for the French Translation!
    • Laser Fence will now show multiple lasers as it is upgraded.
    • MultiTools of each Tier now have a different visual look.
    • Loading Level Optimizations. Loading into the game should be faster now!
    • Memory Usage on Clients reduced!

    BALANCE:
    • Death: You no longer drop vehicles when you die. Dying and losing your jetpack can result in cases where you just can't reach your backpack orb. While that has created some amazing stories of loss, shock, comprehension, overcoming the odds, and eventual triumph that isn't quite what we had in mind for dying in those kind of locations :)
    • Death: When killed by the Environment / Monsters only the owner will be able to loot the bag. Being killed by a monster and having a player get a free bag just from logging in or walking by isn't what we think should be happening. Even with the bag timers people are still having their bags taken with _no effort_ on the taker's part.
    • Death: When killed by a Player (i.e. PVP'd) you no longer can lose your ITEMS. Items will still be placed in the dropped bag but will only be lootable by the owner of said bag. Resources and Crafting Materials will be in the bag and be lootable. Currently, many of the top tier items are a pretty intense effort to acquire. Most of the stories we have heard of people eventually being killed were not stories with a happy ending. We believe there is a place for losing items and that will be the HARDCORE PVP server. For the many players who just load up the game and join a server we think this will result in a better play experience.
    • Death: If you have not been hit in the last 60 seconds then just log out
    • SHOUTOUT: Dr.Mansouri for the lucid description of why this is good
    • Fix return portals being able to be destroyed
    • SHOUTOUT: The Once-ler for ummm 'testing' this on a number of moons.
    • Storage Bins now have a higher drop chance.

    BUGFIX:
    • Generators should auto turn back on once again.
    • Handle cases where people have more Items/Blueprints/Materials than the replication can handle.
    • For Servers with more than one IP/Virtual NIC/VPN/etc we now specify spawned planets' IP as the same as the spawning planet process
    • Fixed Uplinks returning from the dead.
    • Fix PVE Planets' Moons not being PVE
    • Fix Nexus Nodes not using their upgraded radius for where you can build
    • Fix cases where a machine with multiple IPs could end up with spawned moons/planets being untravelable to
    • Better handle the case where steam could not initialize correctly causing the server to be in a 'hung' state and not accept connections
    • An Item duplication bug fixed.
    • SHOUTOUT: WocketPocket for a great item duplication bug find!
    • SHOUTOUT: The Once-ler for correctly a number of grammar errors.

    PATCHDANCE:
    • A New Dance Added.

    Eagerly awaiting the planets and teleported pads. Also the changes to death is a good move.

    Gotta love the last line in all the patch notes...A New Dance Added.

    any idea if this patch fixes walls rebuilding in your base blocking off areas. last log on I have 9 rooms rebuilt. So I cant get to anything in there without blowing them up and rebuilding.
    I have taken screen shots and sent through to Dev's and posted on here previously but no idea if a fix is coming.

    That would be my most wanted update personally and maybe a turrent buff because they suck for actually defending a base, sometimes they can't even aim at mobs let alone players.

    Could we possibly get a feature where even if you have been hit in the last 60 seconds and you've lost connection or something that you sit down automatically and wait the 30 seconds and if you don't die, there you go. Maybe player damage could interrupt or something. :)

    Wow.. There are some really nice balance fixes for this patch pertaining to Death!
    Of course I'm thrilled about Planet Stargates being activated (along with the back-end fixes for the instance servers and such). Wondering what the plan is with the East Coast servers mentioned.. This sounds interesting as well..
    Finally, I am happy to experiment with Teleporter Rooms -- been hoping for a way to quickly travel between bases I've built on my homeplanet.

    I've encountered this issue many times, what I believe is going on is that when a new room is added the existing exterior wall is removed.

    When the server resets, from a patch or crash, that older exterior wall is reinstated, brought back from the dead much like the uplink issue which is in the patch notes.

    of course, the new rooms are still there, just the old exterior walls are too, and since that's now interior, you've got exterior walls inside.

    You can really easily see this from the roof when the issue is encountered.... exterior walls have a different border texture to define their exterior edge, you'll see how that exterior border is running in places within the base, and if you recall where any expansions took place, odds are the rooms beyond were added after that wall was replaced with rooms.

    BTW, my current method of resolving this is to shotgun the newest rooms, outside that "brought back from the dead" exterior wall.

    This brings the structure back to it's original state, and then you can expand out those interior rooms again... If you're lucky, breaking that exterior border in one place will cause it to correct the issue completely. I've had numerous occasions where I can remove 3 or 4 sections of interior-exterior walls by shotgunning one of the new rooms and rebuilding, thus pushing that exterior border out, and breaking the continuity of the outter-edge, redefining it properly in it's current location.

    An exterior should be a continuous loop, from point A to B to C to D, but while there may be an E and an F, it it should never run from A to B to C and back to B again... Currently when walls are brought back from the dead that exterior edge is complete as seen on the roof, it's simply that there's an inner boundary and an outer boundary now, busting the inner is like busting a bubble, leaving only the outer.

    Looking around on the "mid level" planet... Do they plan on upping the player cap with this patch?? Bc I spawned in a level 46-47 area with locked crates at lvl 43.

    started a new world and can't enter dungeons now. gets stuck loading. anyone having the same issue ?

    last time I did that to base I blew up my lvl 6 factory and a storage bin that was now in that blocked off wall. Yes sometimes it works but a lot of times it causes other issues like the base blowing up.

    Built a teleporter on Island 2, then Island 1.. didnt connect. Figured, hey.. maybe its island restricted. So I built a 3rd one on island 1.. didnt work. They seem to be broken in this build. Also the Stargate low and mid take artifact and Collapsed Star Core to build. As far as I can tell.. both are not in the game. My char is only lvl 21 on the experimental server, but I have not found the Artifact Decrypter BP.
