    NOTICE:
    • Combat logging is no more. If you combat log (e.g. close the app) you will leave a backpack. You must now 'camp out' This can be done by typing 'quit' as before or by using the Esc Menu's Quit Menu Option

    IMPROVEMENT:
    • Moon Stargates are now active.
    • New Continents have been found. For new Universes starting up you have a chance of starting on a never before seen Continent. For those already existing Universes, the existence of Planet Stargates have been whispered about in the various trade circles.
    • SHOUTOUT: Thanks to Maxunit! We now have a German Translation of GRAV! If anyone else wants to translate to your language of choice. Go for it! We will gladly put it into the game!
    • New Resource Type: Plasma Found on moons!
    • New Elemental Type: Moonlight Found on moons!
    • New Stim: The Damage Stim blueprint will now drop in the world.
    • Foes will no longer do their range attacks when they are close.
    • Some Admin commands are now broadcast to the server.
    • More Server CPU Optimizations
    • Elemental Melee Weapons now look much cooler. Particle Effects and a Light!
    • New Melee Weapon: The Plasma Sword!
    • HUD Tweaks to make FoF members easier to see.
    • The MultiTool will auto lower itself when not firing. No more running around looking like a goof.
    • Doors now automatically deactivate when a friendly player walks into them and then turn on again shortly thereafter
    • Harvesters with something in them now have a 'something in them' material.
    • Broke the Weapon Category down into each of the weapon types on the UI. No more mega list of weapons to scroll through!
    • Base items now show what level they are on the item itself
    • Campfire Fire Radius will now increase as you upgrade the Campfire
    • Storage Bin: shift button works for taking/putting. (was in Patch 8 but not called out)
    • SHOUTOUT: jimbobslimbob for having a bad ass 4k monitor and bug reporting small text size. HUD text should scale with monitor res now

    BALANCE:

    • Shotgun had some left over built in damage increases from a day long past. These have been removed.
    • Weapon Damage Balance. Shotguns were OP. Pistols and Assault Rifles Sucked. Melee was pretty good. So what we did was: Keep Melee the same. Reduce Shotgun damage. Raise Assault Rifle Damage A LOT. Raise Pistol Damage A LOT. We want people using ALL of the weapons and not just the Shotgun.
    • Armor/Weapon Creation Costs. Higher tier Armor and Weapons have had their costs dramatically reduced. We don't want people rage quitting over losing items. We don't want people spending 10s of hours harvesting items for a single item. Good items should take _some_ time that is what makes them good.
    • Jetpack and Monocycle build costs have been reduced
    • BALANCE PVP: Vehicles can no longer be insta-assembled. They will stop you and wait a moment while playing a 'start vehicle' animation.
    • Locator Costs reduced.
    • Fixed All of the Elemental Types not having a Super Effective
    • Elemental Types when being attacked by something they are Super Effective against are not hurt that much
    • Cave Entrances now have a larger area where you cannot build in. This is to stop the instant kill on zone in of caves that have death traps built directly on the Entrance area.
    • Prevent players from building buildings on top of pawns and backpacks
    • NightKillers and TechHunters now have a chance drop additional ammo (DayKillers sneakily already did)
    • Monsters' Range Attacks no longer do massive damage to room.

    BUGFIX:
    • Powered Items should have the correct visual status on clients now.
    • Fix the case we know of that makes some people not be able to purchase pets.
    • Fixed cases where the server and client would disagree on where it is ok to build
    • Always adding a PetDuration PlayerSkill each login.
    • MultiTool Truncaction issues fixed. You should no longer just see 1's on the higher level MultiTools.
    • Fix Assault Rifle shooting terrain crash

    Nice! Quite excited I played around in the experimentals for a bit but I have yet to get my eyes on that moon.

    How can i get core? From any boss type? Or special one?

    The tech ones I think. Higher up not sure how high but pretty sure tech ones.

    As Kane said and from what I heard you get them from Mega techhunters probably 30+, dont quote me on this though...

    where do you get a lvl 30+ boss?
    highest on out official server is 28 without those events.

    Well in 9 or was it 8 you do get tech bosses as a event now. So that will help a ton. Some servers have higher 28 areas in dungeons even more side deep in some dungeons. If you don't you might need a new map where it supports the new 3 island style map. Think it's like 1-15 then 15-30 and then 30-45

    I'm getting a good bit of collapsed star dust.. just luck with fragment drops or is there a BP that I need to farm out?

    Also, am I correct in assuming that the official servers did NOT get a 3rd island?

    UPDATE

    30+ technohunter bosses give star DUST .... Stargate - Moons is now the Stargate blueprint, which only needs dust, no artifacts.

    powered items still not showing correctly after patch 9.jpg Powered items are still not fixed with this patch, half of base looks powered down even though they are active. Spawning in with wrong armour is also not fixed, only have Gem in inventory. Also when I re-equip my Gem chest the wood chest still appears over the top of it.

    Couple lvl 21-23 technohunter bosses also gave me Collapsed Star Dust when I was farming up extra TechnoHunter Lvl 6s for my friends Plasma Sword. ...which are needed for that sword somehow.. seems like an oversight that 21-28 mobs would drop plasma sword mats.

    bitmonster_matt has been on our server... he's saying it looks like it's only one server per physical box that's working right now. US CEN 10 works, while 11 does not.

    Dev's you have wrecked the game with the MOON. Feel like rage quiting.

    Ok lets start :

    Server: BitMonster Official Alpha Server - AUS Universe 01
    Character lvl 36.

    1) made it to easy to get to moon. Bumped into a lvl 18 and lvl 19 player. WTF. where is the challenge and achievement.
    2) moon portal spawned in a lvl 16-18 area. WTF. Ive waited to get to the moon to lvl as im lvl 36 and I run into a lvl 16-18 area.
    3) 2 caves on moon "OHX SHELTER" a lvl 15-18 and "ZULT HOLLOW" a lvl 23-24. Where are the lvl 30+ caves and areas
    4) Run moon from side to side in 2 minutes not exaggerating.
    5) fought 5 guardians : 2 x lvl 15, 1 x lvl 18 and 2 x lvl 20. Really. Where are my lvl 30+
    6) im lvl 36 where am I supposed to get resources and blue prints from if not the moon.

    EDIT: One of my FOF has just found LVL 1 mobs in a lvl 18-21 area on moon. His taking a screenshot to post up. Once again DEV's WTF where are the lvl 30+ of and plasma swords don't get me started with that rubbish.

    DEV's you have wrecked the game. It has been such a boring grind from lvl 25 and now this. Why have you done this?

    They will fix this my friends. Mistakes happen even more accidentally while they work with procedural generation and the math for it. You be amazed but I bet half the time they don't even use simple numbers like level 1-15 but a lot of complex math to translate to that. One small typo or one commented line during debugging and boom :)

    Hope it is fixed soon as I know a dozen lvl 28+ who have stopped playing because of this reason. Making another area for low lvl is just crazy. moon should be no lower then lvl 30 especially as it is so small, it is also way to easy for a low lvl person now to make a star gate, that needs to be fixed as well. Id like to see no one lower then lvl 28 on the moon. They need to earn it. I've come across lvl 18 and 19 players on the moon.
