NOTICE: Press (K) to see your Player Skills

    IMPROVEMENT:
    • New Net Code is active. Dramatically reduces CPU time on the Server.
    • New Save Code is active. Dramatically reduces CPU time on the Server.
    • New Nav Mesh Obstacle Creation Optimizations. Dramatically reduces CPU time on the Server.
    • Dramatically Reduced Hitch on Join. Now remember kids, O(N^3) is ALWAYS A BAD IDEA.
    • More CPU savings on servers. We will find every Cycle wasted and TAKE IT BACK FROM THE GREEDY SERVER.
    • Unified all Base Items to have their Upgrade/Privacy Settings/Self Destruct on the right side window.
    • The harder World Events have been unlocked. Good Luck!
    • Base Items now have a Self Destruct Button.
    • Placing Base Items inside bases should be less stringent now.
    • A number of Base Items that would cause your camera to be blocked / moved inside your character no longer do this
    • Motion Sickness Setting (you can now turn off the constant camera motion)
    • Reduced Bandwidth requirements when lots of players are near each other.
    • Added console command 'UnBindFromUplink' If you get stuck in a death loop under the world you can now use this to respawn at the starting area.

    BALANCE:
    • MultiTools now will progressively harvest more as you upgrade them.
    • MultiTool healing massively tweaked from a RSS hungry demon to something more akin to actually usable.

    BUGFIX:
    • Dropped Loot no longer give multiple items to you if you run away from said loot.
    • Possible fix for the rare physics crash on servers
    • Correctly give out PS_PetDuration for those who have bought a pet previously.
    • Nexus Shield Nodes were aggressively blocking all Base Items and not just Nexus Shield Nodes as they were supposed to be.
    • Turrets could take over FoF groups resulting in everyone appearing unfriendly to one another
    • World Events should not get stuck spawning only Slime Attacks.
    • Fix Rooms shaking when being hit by a melee weapon that was doing no damage to the room. Fix rooms shaking when healing.
SHOUTOUT: kevininferno for pointing this out.
    • Fixed the year in the patch notes. LOL LOL
SHOUTOUT: ILLINYNR for pointing this out.

    PATCHDANCE:
    • A New Dance Added

-BALANCE: MultiTools now will progressively harvest more as you upgrade them.

I dont think this is working, using a mk 8 and not seeing any difference from prepatch.

Only have a mk4 but also not noticing much.

EDIT From Devs: Speed is the same. It just harvests more. It is not huge massive increase like one hit kill a tree. But there is something. Framework is in there to tweak it now! :)

I think the idea is you get more yield from a tree etc.

Tested this out...Using a Mark VIII you still get about 20 resources per node. Add in 4 harvester pets and you still get approx 20 resources but collected at a faster rate. At this time it seems you do not get extra resources.

You sure your using it on your own placed items? It worked for me but it might need fresh placed items.

I am a bit bummed by mention of the supposed Multitool fix - that apparently changes nothing. I was really hoping they would do something to make the higher tier ones more productive. Still, awesome stuff from the devs anyway!

So...is it possible we need to make new multitools to see the change? That sounds awful at mk 8 but it would be good to know...

Since the patch, I cannot get my server to run. Keep getting the error "CAG Dedicated server stopped working". It is pointing to CAGGameserver-win32-shipping.exe being the issue. How do I fix this? I have tried other fixes from the forums/reddit and it has not resolved the issue.

    **Update**

Have resolved the error by validating files thru Steam client. *shakes fist @ Steam*

I agree. Been sitting at 42 for a while now and there isn't much to do except farm and build obscene buildings. I was holding out upgrading from a VII to a XI hoping the patch would have some sorely needed high level resources but since it didn't I upgraded to the XIII. There is a speed difference...takes about 3 1/2 to 4 seconds to collect a resource with harvester pets out and 5-6 without. They are doing a hell of a job so far so I'm sure they will get it fixed.

Took a look at this. Most of the time it doesn't work when you first click E on an object. Just hit esc and then E again and you will then be able to self-destruct.

I had upgraded from a Mark VII to an VIII after the patch since the mats for an XI are not in game yet. Still just a speed upgrade increased by the use of harvester pets.

Maybe harvest more is talking about the items that drop after you finish a node off. I am at IX and noticed i get drops like every other tree. I don't think it was like this before.

I believe there is a slight increase in drops but can't confirm it yet.
